Hi my name is Fran, my son had a burn injury in 2007 with 27% of his body in full thickness burns to his torso, arms and hands.

We had a tough year but we managed to get through it all with the help from Burns Club, he had a number of operations and many years later he continued to have them.

Following the injury my son and I was introduced to the burn’s club. My son attended many camps making friends, building his confidences and learn he isn’t the only one with a burn.

From seeing the difference this made to my son he’s turned into a confident 21 year old young man. I have now become a parent ambassador for this great charity. I could not thank these people enough ❤️❤️
